Prepress Technician / Layout Artist

This is a new opening for a full time, 12-month minimum contract position with great benefits. Want to be part of our friendly and fast-paced prepress team? Our ideal team member must:
•    have excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
•    be organized and detail-oriented
•    have at least two years of experience in print media and/or related post-secondary education
•    exhibit profficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and QuarkXPress on Mac and PC.

Knowledge of PDF workflow, imposition software, design, web and photography also are assets.

Estimator

Are you good with numbers? Detail-oriented? This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join our dynamic, growing team. Previous print experience is an asset but is not required.

Are you outgoing? Detail-oriented? Do you desire to be part of a great team of a leading print company in Edmonton? Our Customer Service Reps assist clients in producing their project from idea to completion. Industry experience is an asset.

Prepress

Looking for enthusiastic, hard-working individuals who:

  • Are able to operate and maintain large format inkjet printers
  • Are able to operate and maintain platesetters and imagesetters
  • Have experience using pdf workflows and RIPs
  • Have digital imposition experience
  • Have experience in a colour-managed environment
  • Have industry experience in a commercial sheetfed offset printing plant.

Design

We are always on the lookout for creative individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, deadline environment. Experience in QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator on both Mac and PC platforms is a must. PDF workflow experience an asset. Industry experience or post secondary education in the field of design also an asset.
